Electric shock hazard when devices are damaged
Use of a damaged device may result in electric shock.
f Do not use the device if it is damaged.
f Mark the damaged device to ensure that no one contin-
ues using it.
f Have a qualified electrician rectify the damage immedi-
ately.
f Have an electrician take the device out of service if
necessary.
Regular inspection and maintenance support the trouble-
free, safe operation of the device and help to increase the
service life.
This allows early detection of possible error sources and
prevents hazards.
Defects found on the device must be eliminated imme-
diately by a qualified electrician. Do not use a damaged
device as this could increase the risk of electric shock and
damage to property.
f Check the device daily / on each charging for opera-
tional readiness and external damage.
Examples of damage:
„ Defective housing / front panel (e.g. severe deforma-
tions, cracks, breaks)
„ Defective or missing components (e.g. protective ele-
ments, socket hinged lids, multi-function buttons)
„ Unreadable or missing signs
A maintenance contract with a responsible ser-
vice partner guarantees regular tests.
Recommended maintenance intervals
The tasks described below may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
Testing intervals of charging infrastructure for electric vehi-
cles based on DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance)
regulation 3.
