FAULTS/SUGGESTED REMEDIES
The control box supplied performs a diagnostic role by means of which it is possible to easily identify the possible causes of any malfunctions
(signal: RED LED).
In order to use this function, it is necessary to wait at least ten seconds from the moment the control box is put in safety mode and press the lock-
out reset button for a minimum of three seconds.
Once the button has been released, the RED LED will start to flash, as illustrated in the diagram below.
RED LED on
wait at least 10 secs
The pulses of the LED constitute a signal spaced by approximately 3 seconds.
The number of pulses will provide the information on the possible faults, according to the table below.
SIGNAL
MALFUNCTION
2 flashes
The burner starts up
but halts in lock out at
the end of the safety
period without any
flame appearing.
3 flashes
The burner starts up,
remains in pre-
purging and after 95
seconds goes into
lock-out
4 flashes
The burner does not
start and the lock-out
appears after approxi-
mately 60 secs
5 flashes
The burner starts up
but halts in lock out
7 flashes
The burner goes into
lock-out straight after
the flame appears
18 flashes
While in operation the
burner halts in lock-

the value at which the minimum gas pressure
switch is set. The sudden fall in pressure which
follows the opening of the valve provokes the
