PRE-OPERATION CHECKLIST:
Before starting the unit, answer the questions in this checklist:
CODES:
1. Does the electrical supply meet respected codes?
2. Does all gas supply piping meet respected codes?
3. Does the ventilation system meet respected codes?
LOCATION:
1. Is the unit installed indoors on a level surface in a dry area protected
from excessive wind, rain and moisture?
2. Is the unit located away from flammable and combustible
material?
3. Is the unit located in a large enough area for adequate air flow?
ELECTRICAL:
1. Is the unit properly grounded?
2. Do all electrical components used meet requirements shown on
the unit I.D. Plate and is the voltage correct?
GAS SUPPLY:
1. Is the proper fuel type (N.G. or L.P.-Gas) being used for your
pressure washer?
2. Does the gas supply meet the demand of the BTU rating of the
burner?
3. Has the proper gas regulator been installed for the proper pressure
and flow?
4. Is all piping the right size and have all gas connections been checked
for leaks?
5. Is the gas valve completely open?
6. Is the incoming gas pressure 3"-7" W.C. for N.G. and 8"-12" W.C.
for L.P.-Gas?
7. Are the propane tanks (if applicable) employed large enough to
avoid freezing according to the unit's rating?
VENTILATION:
1. Are the correct flue pipe and draft hood sizes employed?
2. Is there adequate ventilation for burner combustion?
3. Is the unit properly vented to allow adequate air flow?
4. Is exhaust stacked to outside atmosphere?
GENERAL:
1. Have all operators using this unit read the Installation and Operator's
Manual and understood all safety warnings?
2. Has the unit been installed by qualified service people who followed
the Installation and Operator's Manual instructions?
3. Is there ample water supply?
