Paddlesports can be dangerous and physically demanding. Participating in paddlesports may
cause serious injury or death. Follow these safety standards when using this product.
• Get paddlesports instruction and First Aid training. Carry First Aid and rescue
equipment.
• Always wear a Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device. Dress for cold water
and weather as appropriate to guard against hypothermia.
• Check your equipment prior to each use for signs of wear or failure.
• Never paddle alone. Scout unfamiliar waters. Portage where appropriate. Do not
exceed your paddling ability.
• Do not paddle in high water or flood conditions.
• Read owner's information booklet prior to using this product.
The user of this product acknowledges both an understanding and an assumption of the risk
involved in paddlesports.

LIMITED WARRANTY
STAR inflatables are guaranteed to the original owner of the boat to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for three years from the date of purchase under normal recreational
use. If, after inspection, we find the boat failed due to a covered defect, it will be repaired or
replaced at our option without charge. No product lasts forever and we do not guarantee against
wear, tear, improper care, abuse, or neglect. Any structural change automatically voids this limited
warranty. Except expressly set forth herein, STAR disclaims all warranties, express or implied,
including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose. EXCLUSIONS FROM LIMITED WARRANTY: Deterioration of a boat increases dramatically
when water is allowed to stand in the tubes. Since this condition can be remedied only by the
owner's care, any problems attributed to water left in the tubes are excluded from this limited
warranty. As noted in this manual, explosive decompression tears are also excluded from this limited
warranty. Rafts shipped outside the USA may incur additional restrictions. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT
PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STAR OR ITS SUBSIDARIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

d'adéquation à un usage particulier. EXCLUSIONS DE LA GARANTIE LIMITÉE: La détérioration d'un

A excepción de lo expresamente establecido en este documento, STAR no se hace responsable de
ninguna garantía, expresa o implícita, incluidas, entre otras, las garantías implícitas de comerciabili-
dad e idoneidad para un fin determinado. EXCLUSIONES DE LA GARANTÍA LIMITADA: el deterioro
de una embarcación aumenta drásticamente cuando se permite que el agua permanezca en los
tubos. Debido a que esta condición solo puede ser corregida a través del cuidado del propietario,
cualquier problema atribuido al agua que queda en los tubos se excluye de esta garantía limitada.
Como se indica en este manual, las roturas por descompresión explosiva también están excluidas
de esta garantía limitada. Las balsas que se envían fuera de los EE. UU. pueden tener restricciones

STAR Schlauchboote sind für den ursprünglichen Besitzer des Bootes für drei Jahre ab Kaufdatum
unter normalen Freizeitbedingungen frei von Verarbeitungs- und Materialfehlern. Wenn wir nach
einer Inspektion feststellen, dass das Boot aufgrund eines verdeckten Defekts ausgefallen ist, wird
es nach unserem Ermessen kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Kein Produkt hält ewig und wir garan-
tieren nicht gegen Abnutzung, Risse, unsachgemäße Pflege, Missbrauch oder Vernachlässigung.
Jede strukturelle Änderung führt automatisch zum Erlöschen dieser eingeschränkten Garantie.
Außer ausdrücklich hierin angegeben, lehnt STAR alle ausdrücklichen oder implizierten Garantien,
einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf, die impliziten Garantien der Marktgängigkeit und Eignung
für einen bestimmten Zweck ab. AUSSCHLÜSSE VON DER GARANTIE: Die Verschlechterung eines
Bootes nimmt dramatisch zu, wenn Wasser in den Schläuchen stehen gelassen wird. Da dieser
Zustand nur durch die Sorgfalt des Eigentümers behoben werden kann, sind Probleme, die auf
das in den Schläuchen verbliebene Wasser zurückzuführen sind, von dieser beschränkten Garantie
ausgeschlossen. Wie in diesem Handbuch erwähnt, sind explosive Dekompressionsrisse ebenfalls
von dieser eingeschränkten Garantie ausgeschlossen. Rafts, die außerhalb der USA geliefert
werden, können weiteren Einschränkungen der garantie unterliegen. AUSSER IN DEM GESETZLICH
