medi Clavicle support
Intended purpose
medi Clavicle support is a brace for the clavicle. The product is exclusively
to be used for the orthotic fitting of the collarbone and only on unbroken
skin or if any wounds have been properly covered.
Indications
• Post-traumatic and postoperative fractures
• Acromio-clavicular luxation
Contraindications
• Constriction of the airways
• Compression of the vascular nerve bundle
Instructions for use
The support is ready tu use. No measuring, cutting, padding and tying as
with the traditional tubular support.
1. Pull part A of the device over your head (see figure 1) in such a way that
the belts (B and C) rest on the shoulders.
2. Now pull belts B and C under your armpits into the corresponding loops
and Velcro-fasten them tightly (see figure 2).
Care instructions
Velcro fasteners should be closed for washing. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably using a medi clean detergent, or
in delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild detergent without fabric
conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
Storage instructions
Keep the product in a cool, dry place and do not expose to direct sunlight.
