8. WARRANTY INFORMATION
TANK WARRANTY: 3 YEARS
COMPONENT WARRANTY: 1 YEAR
PLEASE NOTE: For regions characterised by very
hard water (> 20°f), the use of a water softener
does not imply exceptions to the warranty
provided that the device is calibrated in a
workmanlike manner and regularly CHECKED and
MAINTAINED.
The warranty is subject to regular maintenance
to be carried out by a qualifi ed company starting
from the fi rst year of use of the appliance.
The warranty does not cover the following:
• Faults caused by calculation, installation, use or
maintenance defects and, generally speaking,
lack of conformity to the rules, regulations
and decrees in force, supplemented by the
instructions contained in this booklet.
• Parts subject to normal wear: fi ttings, couplings,
magnesium anodes, etc.
• Occasional faults due to – for example –
material overloading, lack of water or scale
build-up and corrosion problems, or both,
excessively aggressive or soft water or water
containing foreign bodies (sand, slime, etc.).
• Faults caused by the production of rusty or
coloured water and by bacterial contamination.
• All deteriorations or incidents due to causes
not ascribable to the appliance's construction;

in particular, accidental deteriorations caused
by transport and maintenance accidents,
excessively high water pressure not restored to
its normal values, the use on an unauthorised,
encrusted, defective or incorrectly calibrated
safety unit, short-circuits, lighting strike,

frost,
connection
without water, and errors during installation,
modifi cation or repairs eff ected on the water
heater without our prior written approval.
• Deteriorations
ascribable
maintenance (limescale build-up or lack of
periodic maintenance of the magnesium anode)
(see technical information: "Maintenance and
cleaning" paragraph).
• Deteriorations ascribable to a normal copper
plumbing system. The warranty is voided in the
following cases:
• If the appliance is not installed in conformity
to the applicable regulations and directives
specifi ed in this instruction manual.
• If the appliance is repaired or modifi ed with
an intervention by a subject other than our
Technical Assistance Centre, without our prior
written approval.
• In no case whatsoever shall the warranty entitle
the holder to compensation.
