chip / KEY.

TERMINATING A CHARGE / DISCHARGE PROCESS
The processor always employs the ideal process by taking the charge parameters into
account, with the result that the unit automatically terminates the charge or discharge
process exactly at the right moment. The charger always employs the optimum process
for each battery type.

First connect the BID chip / KEY to the charger
using the adaptor lead. This automatically causes
the screen display shown here to appear.
If the charge parameters on the chip are accepta-
ble, press the 'ENTER' button to prepare the pro-
cess. From this point on, the procedure is identical
to a normal process initiated from a battery memo-
ry; the sequence is described in Chapter 7.4.

If the process concludes successfully, the
charger alerts you with an audible beep.
The screen now displays the essential
data relating to that process, as shown in
