CHARGE / DISCHARGE PROCEDURES WITH BID CHIPS
Even during a charge / discharge process it is possible to optimise the parameters using
the 'SET' buttons. If you change a setting, the process continues to run with the new
values. You can check the values by calling up the individual working displays in turn
using the 'SELECT' button.

TERMINATING A CHARGE / DISCHARGE PROCESS
At the end of a charge / discharge process you will hear a brief audible signal, and the
screen briefly displays the message 'READY'. This applies whether the termination is
automatic or manual (by operating the 'MODE' button, because - say - the battery is fully
charged).

Once you have programmed all the settings on the
chip, the battery must be connected. The charge /
discharge process is initiated by selecting the

ton.
The selected process - e.g. 'CHARGING' - is dis-
played briefly on the screen, then this display
scrolls to the right and off the screen, to be repla-
ced by the last activated working display. The flas-
hing status symbol indicates the current process;
in our example this is 'C' for charging.
