7. Maintenance and service
Before working on the IRT installation, ensure that the
main power switch is switched off and that the IRT Power-
Cassette cools for at least 3 minutes (the normal time the
fans run for post cooling).
7.1 Weekly
Check that all IR lamps light up during cassette opera-
tion. Defect IR lamps can cause uneven heat distribution
over the surface.
Clean the dryer from dust, which can be a cause of fire,
with a damp cloth. Also, check that all cables are undam-
aged. A damaged cable can be a danger to life!
7.2 Monthly
Check the gold coated reflectors. Damaged or extremely
dirty reflectors can over heat the reflector body and/
or the cassette. In case of doubt, please contact the
customer service in order to clarify if the gold coated
reflector needs to be changed.
Check the condition of the inlet hoses. They should not
leak.
Check that the air filter is not blocked. Replace the filter if
necessary.
Check the condition of the protective glass and reflector.
If necessary, clean using a scraper intended for removing
paint on the glass surfaces and wipe off using white spirit
or water.
Heavily contaminated glass should be removed from IRT
PowerCassette and soaked in warm water, above 50°C,
together with a powerful cleaning agent.
Heavy contamination increases power consumption,
reduces the lamp's service life and can result in the over-
heating of the module.

7.3 IRT lamp replacement
Attention!
Do not touch either the gold coated reflector or the new
IR lamp with your fingers. Only remove the protective
paper on the IR lamp after you have installed it.
1. Disconnect the power supply to the unit with the bro-
ken lamp.
2. Remove protection glass.
3. Loosen the screw that hold the lamps (both sides of
the lamp). Carefully slide the metal plate out of the
lamp holders and lift the bulb out of the reflector.
4. Note! Do not touch either the gold coated reflector
or the new IR lamp with your fingers. Only remove
the protective paper on the IR lamp after you have
installed it.
Secure the new lamp in the lamp holder. Make sure
the metal plate on the lamp is pushed as far as pos-
sible into the clamp of the lamp holder (see image
above). Tighten the screw. Gently bend the metal
plate on the other side of the lamp so that it can
be slided into the clamp of the other lamp holder.
Tighten the screw in the other lampholder.
5. Focus IRT lamp by centralizing it sideways in the re-
flector body.
6. Focus IRT lamp by centralizing it lengthways in the
reflector body. Remove the protection paper.
7. Remount the protection glass.
8. Reconnect the power supply and make check that the
replaced lamp lit up.
