Total vibration value
Vibration values determined in accordance with
ISO 28927-9 and EN 12096:
Vibration emission value
Uncertainty
NOTE
The noise emission levels and vibration values
specified in these instructions have been meas-
ured in accordance with the corresponding
standardised measuring procedure and can
be used to make equipment comparisons. The
noise emission levels and vibration values vary
depending on the use of the compressed air
tool and may be higher than the values speci-
fied in these instructions in some cases. It is
easy to underestimate the noise emission levels
and vibration values if the compressed air tool
is used regularly in this manner.

WARNING!
Please ensure that you have read and under-
stood the safety instructions regarding multiple
hazards before installation, operation, repair,
service and replacement of any accessories
and before working near the non-rotary
percussive tool. Otherwise, there is a risk of
serious physical injuries.
The non-rotary percussive tool should only be
set up, adjusted or used by qualified and
trained operators.
The non-rotary percussive tool may not be modi-
fied. Modifications can reduce the effectiveness
of the safety measures and increase the risks for
the operator.
Do not lose the safety instructions – hand them
to the operator.

Never use a damaged non-rotary percussive
tool.
The machine must be serviced regularly to
check whether the rated values and labels re-
quired in the relevant part of ISO 11148 are
marked on the machine in a legible manner.
The employee/user must contact the manufac-
turer to obtain replacement labels if necessary.
Hazards caused by flying parts
Disconnect the non-rotary percussive tool from
the energy supply before changing the machine
tool or accessory.
If the workpiece, one of the accessories or even
the machine itself breaks, parts can be flung out
at a high speed.
Always wear impact-resistant eye protection
when operating the non-rotary percussive tool.
The level of the required protection must be
evaluated separately for each individual task.
Wear a safety helmet if working above head
height.
In this case, the risks for others should also be
assessed.
You must ensure that the workpiece has been
securely fixed in place.
Do not operate the machine unless the machine
tool is properly attached to the machine with a
suitable locking mechanism.
To prevent injury, all worn, broken or bent parts
of the locking mechanism must be replaced
immediately.
Before switching on the machine, make sure the
machine tool is firmly placed on the surface to
be processed.
