Installation
Purpose
For connecting the Combics indicator to the long
or short side of a weighing platform.
The retainer plate can only be mounted on
weighing platforms of the size 320 + 240 mm
(DC), 400 + 300 mm (ED models) and 500 + 400
mm (FE models.)
Mounting the Column on the Long Side
Use 3 screws to attach the retainer to the bottom
of the indicator.
Remove the load plate from the weighing
platform.
Position the retainer plate under the middle of
the long side of the weighing platform.
Use the spacing sleeves as follows:
– Long spacing sleeves for weighing platforms of
the size 400 + 300 mm (ED) and 500 + 400 mm
(FE)
– Short spacing sleeves for weighing platforms
of the size 320 + 240 mm (DC)
Guide the 4 bolts through the bore holes in the
bottom plate of the weighing platform, through
the spacing sleeves and then through the bore
holes on the retainer plate, and attach the nuts
to secure them from below.
Guide the power cord and the weighing platform
cable through the slots on each side of the
retainer.
Place the load plate on the weighing platform.
