13. ADD/KILL button: to select ADD or KILL mode. In KILL mode, the indicator near this button is lit. In ADD mode, a
FLASH button level can be added to other set levels. In KILL mode, when a FLASH button is activated, the flash
levels of all other channels are automatically set to zero.
14. SHIFT button: is valid only with another function button.
15. PATTERN + button: to increase the left two digits by one. Pressing this button for more than one second
increases the digits quickly from present counter till the maximum and then increase from the minimum.
16. PATTERN – button: to increase the left two digits by one. Pressing this button for more than one second
increases the digits quickly from present counter till the minimum and then decrease from the maximum.
17. STEP + button: to increase the right two digits by one. Pressing this button for more than a second increases the
digits quickly from present counter till the maximum and then increase from the minimum.
In chase mode, press this button to go to the next step in the pattern. Pressing for more than one second allows
advancing in the pattern at a rate of ten steps per second.
CROSS SETUP: press SHIFT+STEP+ together to enable or disable CROSS mode. The CROSS ON and
CROSS OFF indicators are located straight above the button.
18. STEP – button: to decrease the right two digits by one. Pressing the button for more than one second decreases
the digits quickly from present counter till the maximum and then decrease from the maximum.
In chase mode, press this button to go to the previous step in the pattern. Pressing for more than one second
allows returning in the pattern at a rate of ten steps per second.
BLIND: press SHIFT+STEP- to enable/disable BLIND mode. The ENABLE indicator above the button lights up.
19. PROGRAM button: press this button for more than one second to enter PROGRAM mode. The indicator close to
this button is lit ; now 30 variable patterns (1-30) are ready to be programmed, each containing 99 steps at most.
Press this button to store the current setting as a step - the LCD shows the next step to be programmed.
END STEP: in program mode, pressing SHIFT+PROGRAM together sets the present step as last step.
20. ASSIGN button: press this button for more than a second to enter ASSIGN mode, the indicator close to it is lit. In
ASSIGN mode, press the ASSIGN button first, then press a FLASH button to store the set level of that channel.
DELETE PROGRAM: in program mode, press SHIFT+ASSIGN together to delete the present pattern.
21. PATCH Button: press the button for more than one second to enter or leave PATCH mode. The two digits on the
left of the LCD indicate the level (00~99 ; 'FF'=100%) ; the two digits on the right are the DMX channel number
(00-16). In MIDI CHANNEL mode, this button is invalid.
MIDI CHANNEL: press SHIFT+PATCH together for more than a second to enter or leave MIDI CHANNEL mode.
In MIDI CHANNEL mode, press STEP+ or STEP- to select the desired channel. The LCD shows CH:XX. MIDI
CHANNEL mode cannot be used in PATCH mode.
22. FULL ON button: to activate channels 1-8 at full intensity (overriding STAND BY).
23. LOOP button: in CHASE mode, press this button to enter LOOP CHASE mode and define the current pattern as
the 1st pattern to be run by LOOP. Change the settings and press this button again to add that pattern as the
next one. The LOOP memory can contain up to 100 patterns - when it is full, the LCD shows XX:FL.
LOOP EXIT: press SHIFT+LOOP together to leave LOOP CHASE mode.
24. CHASE button: to enter auto chase mode, the matching point in the LCD lights up. In this mode, the chasing
speed is controlled by the SPEED knob and the pattern level is controlled by the LEVEL knob.
AUDIO: press SHIFT+CHASE together to enter the audio chase mode. The matching point in the LCD lights up.
25. TAP SYNC button: in chase mode, press this button to enter TAP SYNC function, the matching point in the LCD
lights up. Tap twice on the button to set the set the step time (pressing once has no effect). Turning the SPEED
knob will disable the TAP SYNC function.
MANUAL STEP: press SHIFT+TAP SYNC together to enter the manual chase mode, the matching point in the
LCD lights up. In this mode, press STEP+ or STEP- to execute the patterns.
26. STAND BY button: to enter or leave STAND BY mode. In STAND BY mode, all functions are disabled and the
indicator to the left of the button is flashing.
MANUAL: press SHIFT+STAND BY together to enter MANUAL mode, the matching point in the LCD lights up
and the LCD shows the master fader value (000 to 100).
