5. Prepare a disinfection bath made from water and a disinfectant.
6. Place any parts that need to be disinfected in the disinfection bath.
7. Thoroughly rinse all parts under running water.

After cleaning and disinfecting silicone half masks, rinse each
part for 10 minutes.
8. Allow all parts to air-dry or be dried in the drying cabinet
(temperature: max. 60 °C). Keep out of direct sunlight.

Maintenance work
4.3.1
Inspecting the half mask
Inspect all parts for damage, brittleness or deformation
WARNING
!
The harness must be undamaged (e.g. not porous or
cracked) to ensure that the half mask fits tightly and prevent
risk of poisoning! Replace if required.
4.3.2
Disassembling the half mask (see page 5, Figure C)
1. Press the sealing profile (1) and fastening nubs (2) out of the cap.
2. Remove the cap from the mask body.
4.3.3
Inspecting the inhalation valve disc
1. Check that the inhalation valve disc inside the mask body rests
evenly on the sealing area.
2. Detach the inhalation valve disc and check whether it is movable.
3. If necessary, insert a new valve disc.
