Intended use
A half mask and respiratory filter or a half mask and powered air
purifying respirator or a half mask and hose breathing respirator form
a filtering device. Such devices filter certain gases, vapours and
particles from the air breathed by the wearer within specified limit
values. The choice of respiratory filter depends on the pollutants in the
environment.
Temperature during use of the half mask: -30 °C to 60 °C. Other
operating temperatures may apply for the filters.

All half masks in the Dräger X-plore 4000 series are approved
according to:
DIN EN 140:1998
(EU) 2016/425
AS/NZS 1716:2012
TP TC 019/2011
Declaration of conformity: see www.draeger.com/product-certificates
The Dräger X-plore 4740 half mask also meets the requirements of
Directive 89/686/EEC on personal protective equipment as a
facepiece for use with the Dräger X-plore 8000 powered air purifying
respirator and the Dräger X-plore 9300 airline breathing apparatus.

On the outside of the half mask: manufacturer/size/CE marking
On the inside of the half mask: product name/material/CE marking/
date of manufacture
On the exhalation valve disc: date of manufacture
On the head harness: manufacturer/material/part number/date of
manufacture
Size: S/M = small/medium, M/L = medium/large
