Inspecting the exhalation valve disc
1. Grip the exhalation valve disc at the edge and pull it out.
2. Inspect the valve seat for contamination and damage. If
necessary, wipe it clean with a disposable cloth.
3. Place the exhalation valve disc on a flat surface and check that it
lies flat and evenly.
4. Press the exhalation valve disc into the valve seat until it engages.
The disc should rest on the valve seat uniformly and completely
flat.
5. If necessary, insert a new valve disc.

Assembling the half mask (see page 5, Figure C)
1. Arrange the harness.
2. Push the mask body into the cap.
3. Attach the sealing profile (1) of the inhalation valve.
WARNING
!
The sealing profile must be properly seated in the cap,
otherwise the half mask is not tight and there is danger of
poisoning!
4. Only X-plore 4790:
Make sure that the gasket (3) is not damaged and sits completely
in the groove.
Replace damaged gasket.

5. Press the fastening nubs (2) from within through the holes of the
cap and fasten them.
