out these operations in the same order.
1. P lace the child car seat onto the vehicle seat
with the backrest up against the vehicle seat
backrest.
WARNING! Check that the vehicle headrest

it must not push it forwards (Fig. 6). If this hap-

seat where you intend to install the child car
seat. Remember to replace the vehicle head-

must be resting against the vehicle seat.
2. P lace your child inside the car seat with his
back correctly placed against the backrest.
3. C heck the backrest height (see paragraph
"ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE BACKREST")
4. C heck the backrest width (see paragraph
"ADJUSTING THE WIDTH OF THE BACKREST")
5. T hread the diagonal car seat belt through the
diagonal belt guide (B). Check that the belt
guide (l) open/close button is firmly closed;
you must be able to see the white reference
line (Fig. 7).
6. O pen SAFE PAD (S) (Fig. 8). Insert the car seat
belt in SAFE PAD, positioning it in the guides
(Fig. 9) and then close the two ends (Fig.10),
