2 Intended use
The electric internal shutter is primarily used
as a supply air element and/or supply air
intake for automatic cellar dehumidification
(AKE). It is also possible to use it as a passive
supply and exhaust air element for cross-ven-
tilation. In interior rooms, the shutter can
also be used for surface installation. It is
only intended for domestic use and similar
purposes, for example, living rooms and/
or cellars or small units up to approx. 60m².
No other or additional use is intended. Op-
eration is only permitted in closed rooms.
Maico is not liable for damages caused by
improper use (use other than intended use).
3 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Unit installation only by installers specialised
in ventilation technology. The electrical con-
nection, commissioning, maintenance and
repair may only be undertaken by qualified
