EasyGlide
The sliding board EasyGlide is an ingenious invention. The board helps transfer sitting users to and from wheelchairs,
beds, toilets, car seats and many other seated positions. It is especially suitable for levelling out height differences and
for bridging short distances.
The rounded corners and the smooth, low-friction top surface provide for easy sliding transfers and make the sliding
board very easy to position and remove. The double anti-slip tape on the underside prevents the board from sliding
against the underlying surface during transfer.
Check Safety
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the assistive device regularly. Verify that the materials are not
worn or faded. If there are signs of wear, the product must be discarded.
Stability test
Carefully bend the EasyGlide to check strength and durability. The board should be both elastic
and rigid. Discard the EasyGlide when its strength and durability are diminished.
Always read the user manual
Always read the user manuals for all assistive devices used during a transfer.
Keep the user manual where it is accessible to users of the product.
Always make sure that you have the right version of the user manual.
