Exiting from the info menu
- Once you have arrived at the final menu item, press the info
button again. Alternatively, wait for 5 seconds without pressing
any button.
- The charger goes into stand-by mode.
REMOTE DISPLAY OPTION
The charger is operated via the remote display in the same way
as via the multi-functional panel on the charger itself.
N.B.! When you plug the remote display into the LocalNet
connection socket, this deactivates the multi-functional panel.
Five seconds after the remote display is unplugged, the multi-
functional panel is active once again.
Green LED
Lights up when the charging operation has ended correctly
Yellow LED
Lights up while the battery is being charged
Flashes if the charging operation has been stopped
Red LED
Lights up if an error occurs
PROTECTIVE GEAR
For a save operation the battery charger provides protection
against:
- short-circuit of charging lines
- thermal overload of battery charger
- mains undervoltage
- "Vehicle immobilisation" option (1-pole or 2-pole, depending
on the version)
Warning! The optional "Vehicle immobiliser, 2-pole, with
changeover contact" (4,100,285) must NEVER be run on
two different circuits!
N.B.! The optional vehicle immobiliser can be used for activating
safety features that perform a certain action, as long as the
charger is running.
Example: A relay makes it impossible to start up a vehicle whose
battery is being recharged.
If the "vehicle immobiliser" option has been installed, the circuit
diagram, and information on how the immobilisation function
works, will be found on the label on the housing of the charging
unit.

FLOOR MOUNTING OF THE SELECTIVA
PLUS E
- Insert floor-mounting angle brackets at the front and back of
the charger, on either side of the ventilation grilles
- Mark the locations for the holes to be drilled in the intended
mounting-surface (spaced as shown in the illustration)
- Drill the holes
- Select suitable screws (diameter 5 mm) for fixing the charging
unit, as dictated by the nature of the mounting-surface
- Using the floor-mounting angle brackets and two screws for
each bracket, fasten the charger to the mounting-surface
