In case of malfunctioning, check the following table.
If, after the checks and controls suggested, the problem persists, contact the authorised technical service.
DEFECT
• The flame is weak and orange, the
pellets accumulate in the combustion
grate, the door glass is covered in
soot.
• The fire goes out or the stove
deactivates automatically.
• Pellets are not fed.
• The stove runs for a few minutes and
then switches off (startup)
• The control panel does not switch
on.
• Soot or floating ash outside the stove.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE

Insufficient combustion air.

Excessive pellets dropping.
• The pellets hopper is empty.
• Pellets are not fed.
• Maximum thermostat triggered.
• Poor quality pellets.
• Not enough pellets fed.
• The hopper is empty.
• Faulty auger or electronic board.
• The auger is clogged (objects, wood, etc.).
• The exhaust gas did not reach the required
temperature.
• The stove is not powered.
• The door of the firebox is open while the
flame is lit.
• No seal between combustion fan and
exhaust gas duct. A sign of this is dust on
the floor behind the stove.

REMEDY
• Remove ash and waste from the burner
grate that may be clogging the air inlet.
If possible, use better quality pellets.
• Check if the combustion air is clogged
with ash (see Cleaning the firebox).
• Check if the air inlet duct or outlet pipe
is clogged.
• Check the door seal.
• Have the appliance serviced by the
service centre (adjustment of controls,
cleaning the appliance).
• Adjust the combustion as described
previously.
• Have the service centre make the
adjustment.
• Fill the pellets hopper.
• See defect: "Pellets are not fed."
• Leave the stove to cool down for 1 hour
and light again.
• Use quality pellets.
• Adjust the combustion by correcting
the
Adjustment).
• Have the service centre make the
adjustment.
• Check the hopper contents. Fill with
pellets if necessary.
• Have an authorised service centre
check the faults and replace any
damaged parts with original spares.
• Clean the hopper and the auger.
• Light the stove again if necessary.
• Light the stove again if necessary.
• Check that the stove's plug is correctly
plugged in.
• Check that the master switch is set to
1.
• Check and if necessary replace the
fuse on the electronic board (see p.
35 fig. 9).
• Always keep the fire door closed; if
possible open only when the stove is
off.
• Call an authorised service centre to
eliminate any leaks in the exhaust
system (using e.g. aluminium adhesive
tape, sealing adhesive tape or heat-
resistant silicone).
