Training
Read the operating and maintenance instructions carefully. Make yourself thoroughly familiar with the control devices and the proper
use of the device. You need to know how the device works, and how the control equipment can be turned off quickly. Never let
children operate the device. Never allow adults without proper training to work with the device. Keep the work area free of any person
especially young children, and pets. Be careful to avoid that you slip or fall.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Put the chain in a clamping device.
Set the sharpening angle.
Set the links and depth delimiters spaces.
Clam the chain, using the respective device.
Switch the unit on.
Lower the unit head and grind the tooth slowly.
Release the chain and get ahead two teeth further using the stop (differ between the right and the left teeth, all the teeth on a
side should be sharpened at first)
Repeat the steps so that each teeth is sharpened (to work the teeth on the opposite side, the sharpener head has to be set at
the equal angle on the opposite side; see also Fig. 4)

Unplug before performing any work on the unit power cord from the socket.

Inspections and Maintenance Safety Instructions
The machine will serve as a sufficient aid only if maintained and care for appropriately. Insufficient maintenance and care may result
in accidents and injuries.
The disc is not allowed to be fitted on the head with force.
The grinding disc bored centre hole diameter shall not be altered.
Only grinding discs fit for the unit are allowed for the use.
Any works in the unit should be done with the unit switched off.

If you have sharpened your chain, check the depth delimiters
distance.
The depth delimiters (2) should always be lower than the cutting links.
(1). Where necessary, you should make the delimiters (2) shorter with
a saw file (not included in the scope of delivery) following your chain
data.
Troubleshooting

Take steps as shown to replace the grinding disc .

Loosen the disc locking screw
Take the disc out.
Take the steps in reverse order to fit the grinding disc in
