Riding instructions

The TY125 4-stroke's engine has been constructed
with an absolute precision so that the parts have
correct tolerances and surfaces.
Nevertheless, SHERCO recommends running the
engine gently, without forcing it, for the first 1,000
kilometres.
To start the engine from cold, perform the following
A
steps:
- Switch on the ignition.
- Make sure the gear lever is in Neutral position (N).
- Turn on the choke
- Turn the fuel tap to the ON position.
- Start the engine (either electrically or mechanically).
- Turn off the choke (after a maximum of 1 km).
WARNING
Avoid running with the choke ON.
After covering a distance of approximately 1 km,
turn it OFF.
To start the engine when warm, perform the

following steps:
- Switch on the ignition.
- Make sure the gear lever is in Neutral position (N).
- Check that the choke
- Turn the fuel tap to the ON position.
- Start the engine.
