Notifications and troubleshooting

WARNING
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy should run 24 hours a day without interruption. If therapy is
discontinued for more than 2 hours, the dressing should be replaced and therapy restarted by a
healthcare professional.
If the Invia Motion NPWT pump detects an irregularity in the operation of the pump, an acoustic signal
sounds and a notification will appear on the display.
1. An acoustic signal sounds.
2. If the Invia Motion NPWT pump is in the carrying case, open the lid of the carrying case and release the
Velcro.
3. Press [
] to mute the acoustic signal for 60 seconds (the button can be pressed every time the signal
sounds, with the exception of "Battery fully discharged" and after the pump time of 15 or 60 days plus
72 hours of safety time is used up).
Every acoustic signal can be permanently muted by switching Invia Motion NPWT pump off (press [
and hold for 3 seconds). Turn the pump back on to continue treatment.
4. Check the display for one of the following visual symbols.

On/Off
Change Pressure
Setting
Constant/
Mute/
Intermittent Mode
Info Used Time
Blockage in tubing
On/Off
Change Pressure
Setting
Constant/
Mute/
Intermittent Mode
Info Used Time
Acoustic signal will sound when the Invia Motion NPWT pump detects a full
canister and canister full symbol will appear on the display.
Troubleshooting:
Change the Invia Motion canister/tubing set.
Acoustic signal will sound when the Invia Motion NPWT pump detects
blockage in tubing and blockage symbol will appear on the display.
Troubleshooting:
Inspect Invia Motion canister and dressing tubing to ensure tubing is not
twisted, kinked or clamped. Verify that the correct canister is used:
