Change Invia Motion canister/tubing set
The Invia Motion canister/tubing set has to be changed on the basis of a visual check or according to the
instructions on the display but at a minimum of once a week.
1. Wash hands and prepare clean paper towel.
2. Remove the Invia Motion NPWT pump from the carrying case. Switch the Invia Motion NPWT pump off by
pressing [ ] and holding for 3 seconds. Press only once.
3. Position the clamp next to the quick-connector and close the clamp on the pump tubing and close the
clamp on the dressing tubing.

4. Disconnect the pump tubing from the dressing tubing by pressing on the sides of the quick-connector.
Have a paper towel or tissue available to cover the tip of the used tubing to protect against wound fluid
leakage.
5. Detach the full canister/tubing set by rotating the canister to the left.
6. Wash hands.
7. Open the sterile packaging of a new Invia Motion canister/tubing set.
CAUTION
Do not use an Invia Motion canister/tubing set if the sterile packaging is damaged or has expired.
Make sure the correct canister is used:
