If the battery symbol (3) appears in the display, the batteries must be replaced..

Switch off the instrument via the measurement slection switch.
3)
Loosen the screws on the instrument rear.
4)
Lift the battery case cover (by slightly hitting the instrument in the palm of your hand).
5)
Remove the discharged batteries.
6)
Insert new batteries and ensure the correct polarity is respected.
7)
Replace the battery case cover and retighten the screws.
8)
The instrument is now ready for further measurements.
Calibration Interval
We suggest a calibration interval of one year. If the instrument is used very often or if it is used
under rough conditions we recommend shorter intervals. If the instrument is used few times
only the calibration interval can be extended on to 3 years.
