TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance should be inspected by a qualifi ed professional at least once a year to ensure it is operating correctly, prolong its life and make sure safety
is optimised. This would normally involve:
- removing any rust on the burners;
- removing any build-up on the electrode;
- cleaning the combustion chamber;
- checking that the appliance switches on and off and operates correctly;
- checking fan operation;
- checking the air pressure switch;
- checking the fl ue outlets and air intake pipes.
The following instructions are addressed solely to qualifi ed technicians authorised to work on the appliance.
PROBLEM
Boiler does not switch on
No spark but fan operating
Burner does not come on
Burner does not switch off when
water shut off
Repeated attempts to turn on
Burner fl ame inconsistent and appli-
ance then switches off
CAUSE
No electric power supply
No gas power supply
Air in the gas pipe
Green light off
Pressure switch fault

SOLUTION
Connect to the mains
Turn the gas on

Call the Support Centre
Replace
Check – replace – insert
