Recording in standby mode
(Standby SCART setting)
When Standby SCART is set to "ON", signals can pass
through this unit's SCART connectors even if this unit is
in the standby mode. This allows you to record between
the connected external components.
If you experience difficulties recording through this unit's
SCART connectors, do the following to make sure
"Standby SCART" is set to "ON".
To change the Standby SCART setting

Press AMP to select the AMP mode, then
press SET MENU on the remote control.

Press k/n repeatedly to select Standby
SCART, then press ENTER.

Press k or n to select ON, then press ENTER
to complete the setting and return to the
OPTION menu.
Signals can pass through this unit via a SCART cable
whether it is turned on or set to the standby mode.

To stop signals on the SCART bus from passing through this unit
when it is in standby mode, select "OFF" in step 4.
