16.2 General functional description

Flushing is triggered when the sensor detects a movement within the ceramic bowl. When the
urinal is used, a movement is created by fluid flowing over the ceramic surface.
The sensor is located behind the ceramic, above the retained water of the siphon. For this,
comply with the sensor positions in the separate installation instructions.
The ProDetect 2 is available as a mains model with an electrical connection, or as a battery mo-
del.
