ASSEMBLY
Begin installation by taking packages as close to proposed site
as possible. When opening packages use correct tools and
wearsuitable personal protection equipment including gloves.
Before commencing installation acquaint yourself with the
operation of the panel locks. Using the allan key provided, turn
the tongue of the lock outwards, note the double action, where
the last part of the turn pulls the panels tightly together. Return
the lock to the original position. (pic. 2).
It is recommended that the coldroom fl oor is sealed to the site
fl oor with a mastic type solution, to prevent incrass of moisture/
vermin. The same applies to plinth sections on fl oor-less rooms.
Remember the site fl oor must be cabable of supporting the
coldroom and produce weight without distortion.
ROOM WITH STANDARD FLOOR
Place the fl oor panel or panels in situation, tighten the locks and
check that the sides of the fl oor are in line. Check that the fl oor
is level and adjust all possible faults before setting up the wall
panels. Unevenness will cause panels not to align and the door
will not fi t correctly.
With fl oorless rooms place plinth on fl oor, ensuring the corners
are at true 90° angles, (follow tip given earlier) affi x plinth using
fi xings provided. Ensure they are level. Otherwise similar
problems will occur as fl oored rooms.
Loading capacity of the fl oor
The standard room fl oor has been dimensioned for level load of
max. 40 kN/m ². If roller containers or similar are used in the
room the maximum load for a Ø40 mm castor is 1,0 kN.
Floor heating
The fl oor panel of the freezer room can be ordered with fl oor
heating resistance with factory settings in order to prevent
the construction under the fl oor from freezing as well as damp
damages.
The heating resistance should always have a separate power
supply. The connection of the fl oor heating is electrotechnical
work subject to licence and national regulations concerning
electrical installation have to be followed. Do not connect fl oor
heaters to the same power supply with the machine unit of the
room but connect them to a separate power supply with a fault
mode current guard with dimensional operating current of max.
30 mA.
Before and after installation, check the condition of the
heating cables by measuring the insulation resistance between
the phase advance and the earth wire as well as the resistance
of the heating cables. The resistance values are seen on the
connection cord of the heating cable. The connection voltage is
230 V.
Each fl oor unit has its own heating cable and cord.
The full unit (1), the male unit (2) and the female unit (3) have
the cable connecting point near the corner. In the middle unit (4)
the cable connecting point is in the point of joint of the wall unit.
