Cleaning and Maintenance

7.1

Cleaning

Attention
Damage to the equipment is possible!
Switch the equipment off and disconnect it from the electricity supply
BEFORE starting to clean. This prevents the risk of a short-circuit, and
thereby possible damage to the equipment.

Do NOT use any aggressive cleaning materials, solvents, benzin or similar
chemicals when cleaning the equipment. This prevents the risk of damage
to the casing and/or dulling the display.

If the casing/housing becomes dirty, wipe it with soft, slightly damp
cloth.

Any ingrained dirt can be removed with a mild household cleaning
product.
7.2

Maintenance

This instrument is maintenance-free. However, it is still essential to
regularly re-calibrate it. If the instrument is in continuous use, we
recommend re-calibration every 2 years.
