Contrast control cannot be activated if the
high-speed synchronisation FP or HSS is set
at the flash unit (see 7.4)!
The contrast function is not activated if the
camera flash has not been engaged or the P-
TTL flash mode has not been selected on the
flash unit. Synchronisation is with the 1st
shutter curtain.
The contrast function is automatically can-
celled as soon as 2.Curtain- mode (see 11.1)
or the High-Speed flash mode P-TTL-HSS
(see 7.4) are activated.
Most integrated camera flash units only light
focal lengths up to 35mm (see the camera's
operating instructions). If working with a
focal length shorter than 35mm, a flash sym-
bol appears in the LC display of the camera or
in the camera viewfinder to warn you that the
marginal illumination of the subject may not
be sufficient! For more details see your came-
ra's operating instructions.
Setting procedure
