6. First steps

6.1. Switching on the camera

 Press the QP1QHH button to switch on the camera.
The lens comes out, the green light appears on the operating
display and the display switches on. The camera is then in oper-
ating mode.
NOTE!
If the camera does not switch on, check whether the
battery has been inserted properly and whether it is
charged.
6.2. Switching off the camera
 Press the QP1QHH button to switch off the camera.

6.3. Setting the language, date and time

You will be prompted to set the language and time when you
switch on the camera for the first time.
6.3.1. Setting the language
 Use the /and / buttons to select the required lan-
guage.
 Confirm your choice by pressing the QM button.
After the language has been set, the camera switches automati-
cally to the menu so you can set the date and time.
