Update procedure: Example of update from v1.16 to v1.22
C AUTION: never shut off the power to the control unit during an update.
The most up-to-date version of the product is, for example, v. 1.16.
Copy the file downloaded by the update onto the micro SD card (e.g. ULX_122.hex).
Go to the "Update" menu, where the current control unit and actuator software versions
are displayed.
To start the update, check the "Yes" box

If the SD card or update file are not present, or the software version is older than
that already installed, an error screen is displayed indicating the update could not be

If the file is correct, the update takes place in several stages.

If the update was successful, the system restarts using the new version, in this case
v1.22:
If the update failed, the system restarts with the existing version v1.16.
If there is a problem, it is always possible to restore the "factory" version as follows:
1. Check that the microSD card is in its slot (the card must simply be present, no special
files are required).
2. Hold the left and right keys pressed and then turn on the product.
C aution: wait until the factory reset has started before releasing the keys.
After the update, activate the Factory reset function as indicated on page 24 and remove
the program file from the SD card.
