Installing the actuator
Fitting the electric actuator to the mixing valve:
13) Remove the white plastic protection from the e-Cartridge.
K eep this for manual adjustment.
14) Remove the black cap from the e-Cartridge (see page 7) and screw the mixed water
temperature probe to the cartridge.
Alternatively, the probe can be moved using the optional remote probe kit "Sensor
Kit" (see page 7).
15) Screw the actuator onto the e-Cartridge.
T ighten the floating nut by hand until it stops.
16) At this point, supply water to the system again.
Installing and connecting the programming control unit:
Prepare for the installation of the watertight protective IP BOX for e-ULTRAMIX
according to the room in which the programming control unit is to be installed so as
to avoid contact with water sprays or a damp or corrosive atmosphere.
17) Unscrew and remove the cap from the programming control unit, and fix it to the wall.
18) Position the external probes on the pipes (see pipe layout diagram on page 11) using
aluminium tape.
19) Connect the actuator and the temperature probes to the programming control unit
as indicated in the quick start guide. Option: if the temperature probe of the return
circuit is not connected, the mixed water probe is also used to validate the heat
treatment.
Connecting the relays (depending on the system):
20) The alarm relay connection (figure

21) Connect the circulation pump relay :
- F or a system with recirculation loop (figure

- F or a system without recirculation loop (figure

system does not include a circulation pump.
22) Connect the DHW production relay if the hot water production temperature needs
to be increased for heat treatment cycles (figure
23) Connect the flush relay:
- F or a system with recirculation loop (figure

- F or a system without recirculation loop: the relay is not used, as the flush solenoid valve
is activated by the circulation pump relay (see step 21 above).
24) Connect the power supply (230 VAC 50 Hz).
