4 Putting into operation
4.1 Preparing and mounting the wire guide
NOTICE
• Select the proper wire type and the related wire guide for your application.
• Use insulated liners or PA liners only.
• New still unused spiral liners or PA liners have to be shortened to the actual length of the
cable assembly.
• Liners = for steel and stainless steels
• PA liners = for aluminum, copper, nickel and stainless steels
4.1.1 Liner
Carry out each step in accordance with the figures below:
1 Lay the cable assembly out straight.
