BIOM® ready
Function Test Under Sterile Conditions

Make sure that all components are present and are
sterile.

Clap the BIOM® ready against the adapter plate. It is
equipped with a housing with swivel mechanism for
90° and a locking mechanism for this purpose.

Make sure that the housing body can be tipped
without resistance.

Check the function of the focusing knob.

Swing to Standby Position

During the extra-ocular surgery phases, swing
the BIOM® ready out of the beam path to its
standby position.

To swing out the BIOM® ready, lift the bottom
part.

Make the Basic Settings at the Microscope

Make the basic settings at the microscope in
accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

Adjust the microscope to the anterior section of the
eye and perform the surgical steps with microscope
illumination, including putting in the infusion.
