Mounting on a Sterile Adapter Plate

Put the sterile cap onto the knurled screw.

Slide the sterile adapter plate into the dovetail
mount.
Do not touch the microscope while doing this.

Using a minimum of force, plug the BIOM® ready
onto the adapter plate until it reaches the stop.
You must overcome a detent which locks the
connection.
Caution
Risk to the patient if the BIOM® ready is inserted
incorrectly.
If you do not insert the BIOM® ready correctly, you
cannot use it safely and you will get a decentered
fundus image.

Make sure that the BIOM® ready has been
inserted up to the limit stop.

To swing in the BIOM® ready, lift the bottom part a
little.
