Mounting on a Non-Sterile Adapter Plate

Put the sterile cap into place at the SDI®.

Put the sterile cover over the adapter plate.
(fits adapter plate BIOM® 5/BIOM® ready only).

Using a minimum of force, plug the BIOM® ready
onto the adapter plate until it reaches the stop.
You must overcome a detent which locks the
connection.
Caution
Risk to the patient if the BIOM® ready is inserted

incorrectly.
If you do not insert the BIOM® ready correctly, you
cannot use it safely and you will get a decentered
fundus image.

Make sure that the BIOM® ready has been
inserted up to the limit stop.

To swing in the BIOM® ready, lift the bottom part a
little.
