tightly over the sanding pad (6), making
certain that the holes (4) in pad and
patch line up. Fold over projecting paper
and clamp in place with the clamping
devices for sandings (Fig. 2).
Dust removal
The device has an integrated dust
extraction system. Plug the supplied
dust collection box (4) into the dust
extraction connection.
We recommend using an exter-
nal dust extractor that is con-
nected to the dust extractor
socket.
Preselecting the oscillation frequency
(Fig. 3)
The tool has an electronic control sys-
tem for preselection of the oscillation
frequency suitable for the material
concerned. To preselect the oscillation
frequency, turn the thumbwheel (8) to a
position between 1, lowest frequency,
– e.g. for light pre-sanding – and MAX,
highest frequency.
The required vibration frequency
depends on the material and the work-
ing conditions and can be determined
by a practical test.
8 – Operation
ON/OFF
Insert mains plug into an outlet
• On: Push the switch (1) to the right.
• Off: Push the switch to the left.

9 – Mode of operation
Grinding
Turn on machine.
Move grinding surface over the mate-
rial to be ground/sanded with sightly
elliptical movements. Do not apply any
additional pressure, the weight of the
machine itself is sufficient. Conduct a
number of grinding steps with increas-
ingly finer grains.
The required vibration frequency
depends on the material and the work-
ing conditions and can be determined
by a practical test.
10 – Maintenance and envi
ronmental protection
Clean the dust extraction connection
at periodic intervals using a dry brush.
Clean the housing with a damp cloth
only - do not use solvents! Then dry
well.
Remove the dust collection box (4) from
the dust extraction connection to empty
it. Empty carefully, try not to create
dust. Do not breathe in wood dusts!
CAUTION! Electrical and battery
operated units that no longer
work should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be col
lected separately, in accordance with
the 2012/19/EU directive for
the disposal of electrical
and electronic waste, and
sent for proper and envi
ronmentallyfriendly recy
cling.
