CAUTION
Be sure to use the AC adaptor. (The port replicator will not function using the
computer's battery power.)
Be sure to use the specified AC adaptor and AC cord which are included with
the computer.
Refer to the "Operating Instructions" included with the computer for informa-
tion on proper handling of the AC adaptor and AC cord.

Firmly close the rear cover of the computer.
Open the expansion bus connector cover.

Firmly close the DC-IN jack cover.

Confirm that the security lock is in
the lever completely to the right side (UNDOCK
POSITION).

Press down lightly on the rear corners of the computer
onto the port replicator guide pins.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to make connections if there is any
object between the computer and the port
replicator. Doing so could damage the computer
and the port replicator.
