MATRIX GENERATORS are designed for safe
and reliable operation, provided they are
operated according to instructions. Please read
and understand the instructions supplied to
the generator before its operation. Familiarize
yourself with all control elements, and observe
the notes on safety in these instructions.
Thereby, you can avoid accidents.
1.1.1 Do not let the generator running in closed
rooms. The running engine emits carbon
monoxide, an odorless and colorless poisonous
gas. Inhalation of carbon monoxide can lead to
unconsciousness, or even death.
1.1.2 Do not connect the generator to the power
supply system in households.
1.1.3 Do not operate the generator in wet
environments.
1.1.4 Keep a minimum distance of 1 meter
between the generator and highly flammable
objects.
1.1.5 Do not light a cigarette and do not smoke
while refueling the tank.
1.1.6 Only refuel when the generator is switched
off.
1.1.7 Do not spill any fuel while refueling.
1.2 Notes on Safety
1.2.1 Children should kept at a safe distance
from the generator for their own protection.
1.2.2 Fuel is combustible and highly flammable.
Do not refuel during operation. Do not refuel
while your are smoking, or next to open flames.
Make sure not to spill any fuel while refueling.
1.2.3 Some parts of the combustion engine are
hot and can cause burns. Observe the warning
signs on the generator.

1.2.4 Exhaust from the engine is poisonous. Do
not operate the device in closed rooms. During
operation in well-ventilated rooms, additional
measures to protect against fire and explosions
are required.
1.2.5 Make sure connected electrical
devices (including power cables and plug-in
connections) are not defective.
1.2.6 When extensions leads or mobile electricity
distribution supply networks are used, the total
cable length shall not exceed 60m for a 1.5mm
conductor cross-section; for a 2.5mm
cross-section the maximum length is 100m.
1.2.7 Be especially careful, when highly volatile
fuel is used as jump start, if necessary.
1.2.8 Generators can be loaded only to their
nominal capacity subject to specified operating
conditions. When the generator is used under
conditions as described in ISO 8528, and cooling
of engine or generator is impaired, e.g. as a
result of operation in narrow rooms, the load
must be decreased.
1.2.9 Make sure that an uncontrolled start-up
before servicing is not possible.
1.2.10 Installation and repair shall only be
conducted by qualified personnel.
1.2.11 Do not dispose residual oil and residual
fuel via domestic waste. To protect the
environment, they must be disposed of by a
qualified organization.
1.2.12 Caution! For servicing only turn a gasoline
tank upside down, when it is completely empty!
