INSTALLATION
Important to remember during
installation:
• Ventilation as in Fig. 1 is essential.
• If the lower part of the cooktop can be reached
from the cupboard/drawer, a shielding panel
must be fitted as shown in Fig. 1. This is not
necessary if an oven is installed under the
cooktop.
• There must be at least 20 mm between the
bottom of the cooktop and any cupboard
fittings or worktop, with the exception of the
connection block (Fig. 1).
• There must be at least 50 mm between the hole
for the cooktop and the side wall.
• There must be at least 53 mm between the hole
for the cooktop and the back wall.
• Check that the cooktop's power cable is not
pinched during installation.

Installing the cooktop

The cooktop complies with the IEC 335-2-6
standard. Only such units may be installed next to
a full height cupboard or wall.

Dimensions for worktop hole
Do as follows:
1. Cut a hole in the worktop (min. 30 mm thick).
See illustration for worktop hole dimensions.
2. Run the sealing strip around the top edge of the
installation hole.
3. Fit the clips to the bottom edge of the cooktop.
See Fig. 2.
4. Place the cooktop in the hole. Screw the
retaining clips into place.

Uninstalling the cooktop

1. Pull out the plug or remove the cooktop fuse
from the fuse box.
2. Remove the retaining clips and lift the cooktop.
