4.2. INSTALLATION

NOTE: for marks, see chapter B – Spare parts.
- Place the machine on the work bench, on a level surface.
- The glass window (No. 14) still has to be assembled to the machine since packed separately to avoid any
damages during transport.
For the assembly, place the window (No. 14) on the rubber joint (No. 45), correctly positioned on the
hinges (No. 47) and force the metallic pins (No. 7) to be fitted in (it is recommended to introduce the pins
with the knurled part towards the inside of the machine).
- Make sure that the mains voltage complies with the voltage indicated on the rating plate, connect the
power cord (No. 37) to a 10/16 A grounded power socket.
Grounding is mandatory to avoid accidents and the dangers of overheating the power line.
Connect it directly to the mains, do not use multiple sockets.
- Check that the hoses and connectors are in good condition.
- Assemble on the pressure reducer (No. 42).
- Perform the pneumatic connection to the compressed air system of the laboratory:
- if in Rilsan or polyethylene 8x6, screw the quick clutch (No. 40),
- if in rubber 12x6, screw the air connection (No. 41) and tighten by means of a hose clamp.
- Connect the pedal control on the pipefitting (No. 23) following the different colours.
- Fill the working chamber with the appropriate abrasive according to the operations to be carried out
(approx. 6 Kg) as specified in the above table.

4.3. CONNECTING THE SYSTEM VACUUM

ATTENTION: the sandblasting process originates harmful dust: do not breathe. It is
imperative to connect a dust extraction system (WAFIS or PRO-3 SHAKE)
- To connect the WAFIS or PRO-3 SHAKE dust filtering system, it is sufficient to introduce the suction pipe
on the flange (No. 10). It is also possible to fit a pipe with internal  30 or 40 mm.
- Plug in the electric feeding of the extractor to the socket (No. 21), assuring the automatic operation.
