TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problem
The heater burns, but stops
after a brief period. The lamp
flickers and the display
shows 'E1'.
The heater does not work at

Cause
1 - Fuel filter is dirty
2 - Nozzle is dirty
3 - Lens of the photocell is dirty
4 - The photocell is positioned
incorrectly
5 - The photocell is broken
6 – Poor electrical connection
between print plate and
photocell
1 – No fuel in the tank
2 – Dirty spark plug
or incorrect gap of the
electrodes
3 – Dirty fuel filter
4 – Dirty nozzle
5 – Moisture in fuel or in the tank
6 – Poor electrical connection
of transformer / print plate
7 – The ignition thread is not
connected to the spark plug
8 – Ignition is faulty

Solution
1 – Clean/replace fuel filter
2 – Clean/replace nozzle
3 – Clean/replace photocell
4 – Re-position
5 – Replace photocell
6 – Check connections
1 – Refill fuel
2 – Clean/replace spark plug
3 – Clean/replace fuel filter
4 – Clean/replace nozzle
5 – Clean fuel tank with
clean fuel
6 – Check all the electrical connections,

7 – Repair the connection between
ignition and spark plug
8 – Replace ignition
