Use the brush (12) provided with the slow juicer.
This brush has been specially designed to clean
the basket.
Simply place the basket inside the brush and
under running water twist the brush left and
right to remove the pulp from the basket.

If the holes are blocked, soak the basket in
hot water with 10% lemon juice to loosen the
blocked holes.
Tips:
If the basket must be cleaned immediately after use, soak the basket in hot soapy water
immediately after juicing is complete. If pulp is left to dry on the basket, it may clog
the fine mesh holes, thereby lessening the effectiveness of the slow juicer.
Do NOT soak the basket (6) in bleach.
Do NOT place the basket (6) in the dishwasher.
The basket is particularly delicate. Handle with care.
Handle with care the basket (6) in order to avoid to cutting yourself
or damaging the unit.
A damaged basket (6) compromises the proper functioning of the
appliance and its efficiency.
Replace the basket (6) if dented or broken.

Discolouration that may occur when the appliance comes into contact with certain foods
(e.g. an orange colour when carrots are blended) can be removed with a cloth soaked in
cooking oil.
Before inserting the plug in the mains outlet, ensure that the ap-
pliance and all its components are completely dry.
