SECTION 1—ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS
HEADREST INSTALLATION
NOTE: For this procedure refer to FIGURE 1.9.
NOTE: Headrests may be installed on the Personal Back10. Refer to owners manual shipped with
head rest for appropriate installation instruction. If necessary, contact dealer or Invacare for more
information.
1. Remove the Personal Back10 from the back canes.
2. Remove the zippered cover from the Personal Back10.
3. Push the foam of the Personal Back10 downward.
4. Use appropriate holes in back frame for mounting selected headrest as shown in
FIGURE 1.9.
PERSONAL BACK10 MAINTENANCE
Check ALL fasteners weekly to ensure that mechanical connections and attaching
hardware are tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
DO NOT continue to use this product if problems are discovered. Corrective main-
tenance can be performed at or arranged through your equipment supplier.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
BACK ASSEMBLY
Clean weekly with dampened cloth. Wipe entire surface.
Weekly visual inspection of parts including hardware, brackets, upholstery materials,
foams (if accessible), and plastics, for deformation, corrosion, breakage, wear or
compression.
