7. Start-up
Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical
connections) must be checked by an official expert.
A yearly inspection by a technical expert is required.
At least every four years, a quality inspection must be carried out by an official expert.
• If – instead of simply placing the device on a surface – you intend to install the device on the ceiling, the wall or
on a suitable crossbeam, install the provided installation bracket using installation material suitable for the
installation surface and strong enough to carry the weight of the effect light.
• To mount the light on a crossbeam, a suitable adapter clamp might be required.
• Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or a safety net. The safety restraint cable
or the net must be designed to support the light effect in the event of a fault in the main support system.
• Make sure that the head of the light effect beamer can move freely; it should not adjoin anything or be blocked.
