4. Safety Information
In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these safety instructions the warranty /
guarantee will become void. We do not assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or failure to observe the safety notices. In such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
Dear Customer, The following safety notices are intended not only for the protection of the device but also
for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:

The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons
(CE).
•
The device is constructed according to protection class 1. Only a standard power socket (230 V~/50 Hz) of the
public mains supply system with earthing contact may be used to operate the device.
•
Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this effect light must be trained and qualified
properly and observe these operating instructions.
•
Do not look straight into the light source during operation. The bright light flashes can temporarily impair your
eyesight. Apart from this, epileptic fits can be triggered under certain circumstances in persons sensitive to such
lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
•
LED radiation can be dangerous if the LED beam or a reflection enters the unprotected eye. Therefore, before
using the device, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and measures of precaution for the operation
of this kind of LED device.
•
Never touch the mains plug with sweaty or wet hands. There is a risk of fatal electric shock!
•
If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. Separate the mains cable from the device
and replace it. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
•
When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
•
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge the dangers
involved when handling electrical devices.
•
Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants on the device or in its vicinity.
Liquids could get into the device and impair its electrical safety. There also is a high risk of fire or of a life-
threatening electric shock. If this is the case, first power the respective socket down (e.g. switch off circuit breaker)
and then pull the mains cable from the socket. After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist
workshop.
