10. Insert the tube connected to the calibration gas cylinder into the gas
calibration port (as shown) and start emitting the calibration gas.
11. Press Mode/Esc to access the main menu.
12. Use the arrow keys to scroll to Span and press Enter to select. The
screen displays SPAn.
13. Use the arrows keys to display which sensor to calibrate and press
Enter to select. The screen requests confirmation ("no" is
displayed)
14. Use the arrows to scroll to "YES" and press Enter to confirm. CAL is
displayed in the screen (CO calibration displays the value, and not
CAL) to confirm that calibration is in progress.
15. Press Mode/Esc to exit the menu.
Do not press the Enter key to confirm your selection
before having emitted the calibration gas for at least one
CAUTION
minute. The gas must continue to be emitted throughout
the calibration process.
Repeat the process for the other sensor if necessary. Remember to
change the position (calibration port) of the tubing before proceeding to
calibrate the next sensor).
Note: Always verify sensor calibration by re-emitting the calibration gas.
If the value displayed is identical to that of the calibration gas,
sensor calibration was successful.
