Post-processing at the dentist's
When grinding is required by the dentist while installing the work into
the patient's mouth, the units must be well re-polished to a high gloss.
For grinding, we recommend using only diamond grinding points (rec-
ommended grain approx. 40 μm). For polishing, we recommend using
the Amann Girrbach diamond polishing bits (please also refer to the
processing instructions of the polishing kit).
NOTE:
When the work is not sufficiently polished, the antagonist may
become damaged due to abrasion!
Follow-up examination at the dentist's
It is urgently recommended to check the monolithic dentures in the
patient's mouth once a year. In this, the remaining dentition, the
antagonists and the soft tissue are also to be inspected. Corrective
measures are to be undertaken as required. Here, it is also important
that the objects are polished afterwards to a high gloss.
